ABOUT THE AUTHOR

 

Following graduation from Boston Latin School, Harvard College, and service in the United States Air Force, the author obtained a Juris Doctorate degree from Boston College Law School. After a period of trial practice with a Boston law firm, he obtained a Master of Laws degree from Harvard Law School. This was followed by a forty-seven year career, teaching law as a professor at Villanova Law School.

      

Beginning in 1979, the author published 22 short stories in Ellery Queen’s Mystery Magazine and Alfred Hitchcock’s Mystery Magazine before his first novel, Neon Dragon, dealing with the Chinese Tong in Boston’s Chinatown, was published by Oceanview Publishing. Legal thriller, Neon Dragon, introduced as series characters, Boston criminal trial lawyers, Michael Knight and Lex Devlin.

      

Subsequest novels in the Michael Knight/Lex Devlin series, published by Oceanview Publications, include Frame Up (international art theft and forgery), Black Diamond (horse racing), Deadly Diamonds (blood diamonds of Sierra Leone), and Fatal Odds (the illicit international trade in endangered species of wild animals).
